About Echo
We’re bringing the social back to music.
Somewhere along the way, listening became something you do alone, with an algorithm. Echo is a music app built around friends: the records they send you, the shows they’re going to and the tracks you make together.
Music is social
The best tracks you know, someone showed you. Echo is built around the people you share music with, not an endless autoplay.
Show your working
Every recommendation on Echo says why it’s there. No black boxes, no mystery playlists.
Artists first
Every track on Echo comes from the artist who owns it, and every release is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
Make things together
Sessions turn listeners into collaborators, with credit going to everyone who played a part.
Made in Australia
Echo is built by a small, independent team. We’re launching on iPhone first, with a focus on doing a few things really well: listening with friends, discovering music with a reason and making music together.
