Community Guidelines
The rules that keep Echo a good place for music.
Last updated 2 October 2026
Echo is built around sharing music with people you care about. These guidelines apply to everything on Echo: profiles, uploads, Sessions, notes and event listings.
Respect people
- No harassment, bullying, threats or targeting people.
- No hate speech or content that attacks people for who they are.
- No sharing other people’s private information.
Respect music
- Only upload music you own or have permission to release, including samples.
- Don’t impersonate artists, labels, venues or promoters.
- Credit the people who made the work with you.
Keep it honest
- No spam, fake engagement or misleading event listings.
- Events must be real, with accurate dates, venues and ticket links.
- Mark explicit tracks as explicit.
Keep it safe and legal
- No content that promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity.
- No sexual content involving minors, ever.
- No malware, phishing or links designed to deceive.
