    Build your page

Add a photo, bio, genres and links to where fans can find you.

  3. Step 3

    Upload a release

Add your audio, cover art and credits, and confirm you own the rights.

    Go live

We review it, usually within a few days. If something needs fixing, we’ll tell you what.

Artist FAQ

Does it cost anything?

No. Releasing music and running your artist page on Echo is free.

What can I upload?

Original recordings you own or control, including any samples. MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC or FLAC up to 50 MB, with square cover art.

How long does review take?

Most releases are reviewed within a few days. You can see the status of every release in your dashboard, along with any notes from the reviewer.

What if my release isn’t approved?

You’ll see exactly why, for example audio quality, unclear rights or missing details. Fix it and resubmit from the same page.

Do I keep my rights?

Yes. You keep ownership of your music. You give Echo permission to stream it in the app. You can remove a release at any time.

How do I get verified?

Add a photo, a bio of at least a couple of sentences and at least one link, then request verification from your Profile page.
